Brought to you by My Muddy Shoes, a trail running club in Montgomery County, Maryland. The event takes place at the Agricultural History Farm Park.

The next Farm Park Challenge will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Register to run or volunteer at UltraSignup. Volunteers get all the same swag as finishers (a highly covetable shirt and an etched pint glass), and are welcome to run the course before or after their shift.

The “Challenge” is to complete each lap of the course in under an hour for the duration of your race. What feels relatively easy in the first hour or two might sting a bit by hour 5 … or 8.

There are three types of Challenge:

• 3-Hour Challenge: 3 laps, 1 per hour
• 6-Hour Challenge: 6 laps, 1 per hour
• 10-Hour Challenge: 10 laps, 1 per hour

Each lap starts at the top of the hour. If you finish a lap in under an hour, you may rest until the next lap starts.

To successfully complete a lap, the entire course must be covered in less than 1 hour.

We also offer a conventionally timed marathon and 25K.
